SmartRating generates review options based on what the customer tells us — their highlights, staff pick, and visit context. The customer reads them, edits if they want, and posts it themselves. The content is derived from their real experience; the AI simply helps them articulate it, like a guided form. The customer is always the author.
We apply a 30-day rolling IP deduplication per location. The same device can't submit another review for 30 days — which mirrors how long Google's systems typically expect between genuine reviews from the same person. After 30 days, legitimate returning customers can still post.
Yes. Starter supports 3 locations, Growth supports 10, and Agency supports 100. The Agency plan also includes workspace switching — useful for digital agencies managing reviews for multiple clients from a single login.
You set a star threshold (default: 3★). Any customer who rates at or below that threshold is redirected to a private feedback form instead of the AI-generated review flow. Their feedback is emailed to you and sent to Slack instantly — it never appears on Google. This lets you address the issue before it becomes a public negative review.
For the core review flow and QR codes, no — customers tap a direct link to your Google review page built from your Place ID, no OAuth required. The GBP integration is optional and unlocks the Google Reviews inbox tab and one-click reply posting.
Ten languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian. When a customer selects their language, all three review options are generated natively — not translated from English. The language picker can be toggled on or off per location.
